My Journey with Anxiety & Dermatillomania
While focusing on improving my health, I have taken steps to decrease my OCD, anxiety and skin picking habits. I have struggled with Dermatillomania, or skin picking, for the last 30 year. I have tried to stop by myself, with no real luck. I mainly pick on my face, upper arms and lower back. Decreasing my body focused repetitive behaviors has always been a struggle for me.
I found a Free Self-Guided Program that I am going to try. I am also actively looking for a therapist that deals with body focused repetitive behaviors and OCD. Keep coming back here and on my TikTok @lucy.creative, I will post updates on my progress.
