Doctor Who Inspired Clock
Here are the photos and a brief tutorial for my Time and Space clock. I love this quote from Doctor Who and thought it would be perfect on a clock.
I started out with a blank clock template I purchased at Target for about $5. I used acrylic paint and a sponge to paint a galaxy background. I used markers and a fine brush to make the dots for the stars. The oil based Sharpie markers work best to show up on a dark background and makes it easier to get tiny circles and teeny stars!
I used my Cricut machine to cut text (I am horrible at calligraphy without a template) But you can always use the Sharpie Markers for text as well, if you do not have a dye cut machine.
I used the below image for the cut. You are welcome to download to use it as a template.
I finished by covering the entire clock with Mod Podge gloss for protection and a little shine. The clock came with hands and instructions to put it together. Now I just need to hang it on my wall!
