The Book of Poisonous Quotes

While rummaging through my old books, I found this book of quotations that I had forgotten about. I generally go to my favorite quote compilation book, Harper's Book of Quotations, but this book is special.
It is full of the most famous insults, quips and self-criticisms from artists, writers and other characters. My favorite chapter of the book, is the insults between famous painters, such as Salvador Dali, Cezanne and Edgar Degas.
"I began a happening in New York by announcing in front of three thousand spectators that Cezanne was a catastrophe of awkwardness - a painter of decrepit structures of the past. I was applauded, principally because nobody knew who Cezanne was." - Salvador Dali (regarding Paul Cezanne)
If you are into quotation books, like I am, then you should definitely check this one out. You can find it on Amazon but I have seen used copies available online. I found my copy, along with a copy of Bartlett's Familiar Quotations at a used book store in Burbank, CA.
